This kit is called "Perfect Game" and it's by Kat's Creations. Aren't the colors awesome?? Technically it's a bowling kit, but I don't have any bowling pictures and look how fabulous it works WITHOUT bowling pictures!! I love a kit with great colors and great papers.

October Challenge
I, Ariana, CT girlie, challenge you, world, to scrap your bad photos. That's right - the blurry ones. The ones were you were just about to snap the cutest picture ever but the baby/toddler/teenager turned away at the last second and all you got was the back of their head. The smile that turned to a frown or tears. The ones that started as a frown or tears. The ones where your loved one suddenly flung their hand up to hide their face. The ones you keep on your computer but have no intention of ever using. Dig them out. Let's see 'em.
Challenge details: it will be for the month of October 2011, the layout must be at least 75% Kat's Creations products, and the winner will get a $10 to her shop.
Here's one of mine:
The picture is HORRIBLY blurry, but look at his little face!! I LOVE the look on his face. It was too cute to hide on my computer forever. For this layout I used Backyard BBQ, a collaboration by Kat's Creations and Trish H Designs and Backyard BBQ Templates by Kat's Creations.

AWESOME digiscrapping kit - Nine Long Months
Sometimes even looking at a kit, I don't realize how much fun I'm going to have with it until I get started. I mean, I only have three pictures of myself pregnant and I already have five layouts done with this kit! I'm only going to show you four because one of the template sets I used isn't released yet, but I'm sure there will be more to come.
This one is made with a template that is part of the kit:
This one is made with a template from Kat's Scrapping Made Easy: Photoless
Also made with SME: Photoless:
And that's me :) (and Mini Me, but you can't see him yet!!)
The kit is called Nine Long Months and is a collaboration between Kat's Creations and Marie H. Designs. I really, really love it!

Beach Bum
I love the colors in this kit! I say that for every kit, I guess, but I think it's so cool how colors work together and how some people know which ones will and which ones won't. Neat stuff. These LOs are made with Kat's Creations "Beach Bum" papers and elements (sold separately) and her Scrapping Made Easy: Vol 4 Templates.

Lovely kit!!

New CT!
I've joined a new Creative Team for digital scrapbooking and I'm pretty excited about it. It's an honor to be chosen because what you do is submit your information and stuff, but also link to galleries of your work and then you get picked or don't. Getting picked makes me happy!
My new team is for Kat's Creations and I REALLY love her work. Her kits are amazingly versatile and she keeps making templates and I freaking LOVE templates! I dunno why, they're just fun for me.
So, these two LOs are both from her kit called Insane Moments and her template pack Scrapping Made Easy Vol. 3
I was just browsing through pictures and I needed to scrap this one...
It made me think of his sweet little baby hair and how soft it was and how he'd ALWAYS wake up smiling. He never started crying when he woke up. He wouldn't even wake US up when he woke up, he'd just hang out until one of us walked in and then he'd smile that toothless little grin.
This is clearly not MY senior prom since I'm an old lady...
One teeny thing before I go - if you're someone who's been thinking about giving digiscrapping a try, a template can be a REALLY great way to get started. It does feel a tiny bit like cheating at first, but no more so than justing one of those layout books that paper scrappers use, or finding a LO in a magazine you like and using it. I'm not so good at placement and templates make things super easy.
